St John Ambulance Australia is a self-funding charitable organisation dedicated to helping people and community. With over 130 years of experience, St. John Ambulance is Australia’s leading provider of first aid services, training and equipment.
To take first aid training to the next level, St. John Ambulance required an easy to access and promptly available learning platform which effectively delivered a consistent message.
Cell-media has created for St. John Ambulance a Senior First Aid Project Induction that successfully raises awareness with clear and systematic instructions while assisting the audience through simulated situations and interactive assessments.
Drakes Supermarkets is Australia’s largest independent supermarket chain, employing staff in excess of 400,000. Drakes place a great deal of importance on staff training, citing this as a key strategy for the company’s future growth.
Drakes partnered with Cell-media to produce a web and CD-ROM based induction package to cater for several types of employment. The induction also provides the ability for facilitator-led group training.
A key feature of the induction is its three-tiered structure. The user first selects his or her region then selects the job role. Based on the selections, the content shown is tailored to the user’s own job needs.
Edith Cowan University (ECU) is a public university located in Perth, Western Australia. Due to the high turnover of visitors and contractors on ECU’s various campuses, the University required a centralised and audit-ready training system.
Cell-media has worked with ECU to create a split-level interface system which caters for administrator and trainee access to:
- mandatory training modules
- reporting functionality connected to module records; e.g. assessment records
- insurance verification uploading and processing.
